In town, it is looking like Christmas.

Yes dears, it is looking more and more like we have Christmas launched.  The trees that needed the new lights on Market Street, have them up and on.  They looked so very nice for First Night.Their twinkling so merrily while the bands on the corners were playing the usual Christmas songs and a few new ones.  Many a brave soul struck out to find that one of a kind gift from the many stores that were open last night.

At Nanny Goat Crafts we had a few people come in asking questions about sizes of baby clothes and sweat shirts that we have.  A few bought the mittens and caps that were for the adults and the kids sizes.  The aprons got a good looking over and so did the fingertip towels with the Christmas designs.  Then with their bags in hand off they would go to listen to the band or go for the great dinners at Brewers Alley, or Bushwallers or Volts restaurants.

Some people had their pups with them, out and about with that great dog companions.  Even the dogs had winter wear on so they were ready for the cold.  And, oh yes, I almost forgot that one young lady had her cat with her dressed in a Santa suit.  He looked very happy to be in it too!

All in all I do believe that Christmas has gotten a great start here in down town Frederick, Maryland!
