Are you ready for Summer BBQ's?

Yes are you??  It is getting to be the warmer, wonderful time we all look forward to right after old man Winter gets finished with us.  We have had a few Thunderstorms and a few Gully Washers too! So I would say we are ready here in Frederick.  Summer heat has hit here just like all the states up and down the Eastern Seaboard.  I for one have had the first big glass of iced tea of the season for me.  Here in the store we are trying to get the picnic started. I have been working on a few new items that will show up in the store and then will be placed on here.  I have a new design for a cotton cap for the wee ones and  I am trying to enlarge it for anyone that might like it.  We don't want anyone to get sunburned scalp! We have some things ready and waiting for you here at the store.

These Iced Tea glasses are so sweet with the violets in blue painted on them.  There are 6 for $8.00.  Can be washed by hand because of paint.  Yes hot water won't hurt them.  They are made of strong plastic.

Here is the newer colors of hand knitted wash clothes.  These are the ones that will be useful for a lot more then just your face or body.  I have used these to wash off the dog and to wash down the BBQ grill after use.  I have use them to wash woodwork and walls.  I even use them to dust with.  They can be used on a baby  from top to wiggly toes. I have used them to wash the car too! Shown here it a Bright yellow and a ombre of turquoise, gold, pink and white. And we have a light pink too.  More colors are available just ask.

Some people need to get in touch with me so here is my email addy. If I can be of any help about Nanny Goat Crafts just ask me there:   rebbiesmom@yahoo.com   Thank you.

To All Who Answered The Call

Today is Memorial Day.  I am truely thankful to all the men and women and dogs who have answered the call to duty.  They have given thier all to thier country and flag. Some have given thier lives. Others have given parts of them selves, eyes, arms and legs.  I for one am very thankful to thoes who have. For without them this land would not be free and we would not have our freedom.  My Dad was a Dr. in 1941 and he saw much of our boys on his table.  He once told it that war is pure hell. He was a lucky one he came back.  Many did not make it back.  I this day have been up to see his grave with the bronze plack.  I have given him a new rose many times.  Today a flag should be on his grave. But that flag is flying in the cemantery I am proud of it there.

Again  one BIG  Thank you goes out to all who answered that call and the many calls that have been happening.  THANK YOU FOR MY FREEDOM ALL OF YOU!!!
